The singer Liam Payne he died prematurely at the age of 31 last October after falling from the third floor balcony of his hotel in Argentina. Friends and colleagues from the band One Direction had gathered for a final farewell during the funeral but now it seems that a real tribute is in the works.
For the first time in ten years – the last time was in Hong Kong in March 2015 – the group could get back together: Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson would be thinking of a way to best commemorate Liam.

Since it came to fruition the hypothesis of a performance at the BRIT Awards next March 1st second The Sun, the hype has skyrocketed and not just for die-hard fans. Payne participated several times in the event during which he performed and was particularly dear to him, which is why it is reasonable to think that it could be the ideal stage for an unforgettable show.

Obviously if we were talking about this edition, which would be a race against time and would involve a fit between the band members’ many commitments. It is not certain that it is only the former One Direction who want to honor his memory, other artists may also want to contribute live or with videos, photos or other types of performances.
For now it is not official but in the meantime a plaque commemorates him at Celvedon Pier in Somerset where the group filmed the music video in 2014 You & I.

Other theaters in the United States recently screened the documentary One direction: This is usin which Liam opens up about addictions, mental health issues and daily battles. The proceeds were donated to associations that deal with these causes.
Liam was the father of Bear, born from his relationship with the singer Cheryl in 2017. At the time of his death the artist was out of the country with his girlfriend Kate Cassidy to attend a concert by his friend Niall Horan. Due to problems with the visa, the girl returned to the USA while he remained in Argentina, moving from an apartment at the Hotel Casasur in Buenos Aires. The autopsy revealed a mix of antidepressants, alcohol and cocaine in his body which would suggest a state of psychotic alteration and unconsciousness. A few days later the body returned to England where he was buried but his fans gathered everywhere to remember his memory and the concert could be the perfect formula for a final collective farewell and not just a private one, like funerals.
