At least 93 missiles and nearly 200 unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) were launched today, Friday 12/13, by Russia against Ukraine in one of its biggest attacks on the country’s energy system, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said. Ukrainian air defense systems managed to shoot down 81 Russian missiles, including 11 missiles shot down by F-16 fighter jets, he added. Ukraine’s energy infrastructures were this morning subjected to a large-scale attack by Russia, Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushenko noted at the same time. “The enemy continues his terror. Once again, the energy sector across Ukraine is under massive attack,” Galushenko emphasized in a Facebook post.
