Although Xiaomi recently released the updated MIUI 12.5 Enhanced instead of the MIUI 13 expected by many, the developers are working on MIUI 13.

Almost simultaneously with the launch of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced, the company also began testing a new widget system that has nothing to do with MIUI 12.5 Enhanced. Testing began on August 17 and will run until October 20. As testers now report, the new “iOS-style” widget system will become part of MIUI 13 and, perhaps, its main feature.
The system includes a widget store, new widget customization and placement options, a rich assortment of system widgets, and free drag and drop widget sorting.
Test enthusiasts even posted a small video showing the widget store in App Vault (Mi Assistant) and “all types of widgets”, including system – clock, calendar, screen time, gallery, and much more.
