Samsung is known to be working on a new A-series smartphone called the Galaxy A82, which was spotted last week on the popular Geekbench benchmark application database. The phone has now received approval for the output of the Bluetooth SIG regulator.
The Bluetooth SIG database indicates that the Galaxy A82 5G smartphone has model number SM-826S (the same number is listed in Geekbench). The phone supports Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy. The fact of passing the certification indicates an imminent release of the device.

The Samsung Galaxy A82 will be powered by the Snapdragon 855 or Snapdragon 855+ SoCs that were used in flagship phones back in 2019. Geekbench confirms that the phone has 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 11 operating system.
Introduced in 2019, the Samsung Galaxy A80 features a unique camera design that slides up and rotates. Earlier this year, images of the alleged Samsung Galaxy A82 surfaced, the top of which could blend up and down.
