As we previously reported, a smartphone called the Galaxy A82 was recently spotted in the database of the popular Geekbench benchmark app and was later certified by the Bluetooth SIG regulator.
Sources confirm that the Galaxy A82 will be the successor to the 2019 Galaxy A80 smartphone, which featured an innovative design with a motorized rotating camera, also used for selfies. In 2020, the company did not release a new smartphone of this line, but later it was decided that the successor would be released this year.
According to ETNews, the Samsung Galaxy A82 will be powered by the Snapdragon 855+ SoC, making it far more affordable than most smartphones on the market. At the same time, you can’t call it cheap, the source calls the price from 620 to 710 dollars.

That being said, you get a bezel-less AMOLED screen, a built-in fingerprint scanner, and a still pretty original camera design. The amount of RAM will be 4/6 GB, while the smartphone will receive 128/256 GB of flash memory.
Earlier this year, images of the alleged Samsung Galaxy A82 surfaced, the top of which could slide up and down.
The Galaxy A82 is expected to be released in the first half of this year.
