A major Ethereum holder decided to invest in Shiba Inu tokens – he acquired 271 billion SHIB tokens worth $6 million.
About buying Shiba Inu tokens informed WhaleStats, which tracks the 1,000 largest Ethereum addresses. The purchase was made by the “whale”, which is in 208th place in the WhaleStats rating.
Earlier, the developers of Shiba Inu introduced a deflationary policy – tokens are “burned” during transactions. In the last 24 hours alone, 745 million SHIBs have been burned. Within the total supply of Shiba Inu tokens, which is almost 590 trillion, this is not much. However, this allows you to maintain the interest of the community and attract new investors.
It is worth noting that Shiba Inu does attract Ethereum whales. Earlier, one of the major ETH holders bought $1 million worth of SHIB tokens. At the beginning of the year, another “whale” invested $1.9 million in the meme token.
In early March, it was reported that Shiba Inu advertising appeared in Milan – the streets of the city were decorated with images of “Shiba Inu” during the next fashion week.
