A Netflix confirmed the renewal of the series “One Piece ” and announced more names for the cast of the second season. So far, new actors have been announced on June 25th and 26th.
Already the main cast of the live-action series includes Iñaki Godoy like Luffy, Mackenyu playing Zoro, Jacob Romero Gibson like Usopp, Emily Rudd like Nami, Taz Skylar bringing Sanji to life, Peter Gadiot like Shanks, Morgan Davies like Koby, Ilia Isorelýs like Alvida, Aidan Scott like Helmeppo, Jeff Ward like Buggy and McKinley Belcher like Arlong.
The Netflix series, created in partnership with Shueisha and produced with Tomorrow Studios, is a live-action adaptation of the manga series by Eiichiro Oda . The manga saga has established itself as the best-selling in Japanese history and the anime has already lasted 20 seasons.
“One Piece” follows young Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy), who decides to leave his small village to find the legendary treasure that would allow him to become the Pirate King. To do this, he needs to gather his crew and get a ship to search every inch of the ocean.
The first season is available on Netflix . The second, There is no official release date yet. . According to the What’s On Netflix website, dedicated to streaming, recordings should begin in June 2024 and last seven months, with the release scheduled for 2025 .
