With the newest flagship OnePlus, a rather unusual situation turned out – the manufacturer himself presented the design, characteristics and features of the smartphone long before the official event, so that users, in fact, only had to find out the price of the new gadget. And today, January 11, OnePlus fully presented its flagship OnePlus 10 Pro, naming the cost of all versions of the device, but only for the Chinese market. The smartphone, as expected, will initially be sold exclusively in the Middle Kingdom, and the flagship is planned to be sent to other markets later – but there is no exact information about this.
The smartphone’s performance is based on the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, plus OnePlus provides a potential buyer with three versions of the device to choose from. In the basic configuration (it costs about $ 740), the smartphone is equipped with 8/128 GB, there is also an option with double the amount of internal memory (it costs about $ 785) and a top-end configuration with 12/256 GB (it will cost $ 830). At the same time, the device boasts a 6.78-inch Fluid AMOLED display, which is made using the second generation LTPO technology. This display, interestingly, supports a dynamic change of the refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz, and it is also the world’s first smartphone with an always-on display operating at a frequency of 1 Hz.
There’s a fingerprint scanner underneath that same display, but the OnePlus 10 Pro’s brighter feature is the second-generation Hasselblad camera system. It consists of three image sensors (48 + 50 + 8 Mp), the main one of which supports optical image stabilization, and the ultra-wide-angle lens can switch between two shooting modes – 110 and 150 degrees (there is even a fisheye mode). Of course, the smartphone also received support for fast charging technology – the manufacturer equipped the gadget with 80W SuperVOOC technology (over the wire) and support for AirVOOC 50W wireless charging. OnePlus even said wired charging charges a 5,000mAh battery in just 32 minutes, while wireless charging takes 47 minutes.

The smartphone runs on the proprietary shell ColorOS 12.1, which is based on the Android 12 operating system, there is support for Wi-Fi 6 / 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, stereo speakers are installed on the case, and a powerful vibration motor is located under the case. In addition, along with the OnePlus 10 Pro, the manufacturer has released two branded cases Sandstone Cover and Fiber Cases – their cost has not yet been announced.
