The OnePlus 10 Pro will be unveiled very soon, but so far the smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench with disappointing results.
The device will have 12GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 single-chip system, and the operating system will be Android 12. The phone scored just 976 points in a single-threaded test and 3469 points when using all cores. These results are far from the 1100+ and 3600+ that the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro received back in March.
The most likely reason for such estimates is that OnePlus has not yet optimized the new smartphone. It is possible that a non-final smartphone sample was used in the test.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed the OnePlus 10 Pro flagship smartphone will be announced on January 4th. Based on previous leaks, the OnePlus 10 Pro will sport a 6.7-inch curved LTPO AMOLED display with 2K resolution and 120Hz high refresh rate. A notch in the upper left corner of the screen will house a 32MP camera sensor for selfies and video calling.
The device will be equipped with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 flash storage. It is also expected to meet the IP68 rating. The main camera is expected to use a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module and an 8-megapixel module with support for 3x optical zoom.
The phone will be equipped with a special shell ColorOS 12 on top of the Android 12 operating system. The smartphone will run on a 5000 mAh battery and support 80W fast wired charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
