OnePlus has unveiled the OnePlus 9R gaming smartphone, which has an AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 870 single-chip system and other attractive features.
Users will be offered versions with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash storage for $ 555, as well as with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash storage for $ 605. Pre-orders will start in early April, and the new product will go on sale on April 14.
The OnePlus 9R measures 161 x 74.1 x 8.4mm and weighs 189 grams. The device has the same camera layout as the OnePlus 9/9 Pro, but slightly different specifications. The smartphone is available in two colors: Carbon Black and Lake Blue.
The 6.55-inch AMOLED display is FHD + (2400 x 1080 pixels), supports 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz sampling rate. The screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass with a built-in fingerprint sensor. Since the device is more game-oriented, it has 14 temperature sensors. The smartphone also features Pro Gaming Mode, improved vibration feedback and Dolby Atmos-enabled stereo speakers.
The phone received two slots for SIM cards, a USB-C connector, a 4500 mAh battery with support for 65 W Warp Charge fast charging, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS. It runs OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11.
