OnePlus has posted a video showing a dual-screen smartphone. The presentation of new items is expected today, August 11.
In 2019, Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus, stated that the company has no plans to release a foldable phone anytime soon. A year later, the founder of the company said the existing technology was not good enough for foldable phones. So for now, the company has no plans to launch a competitor, the Galaxy Z Fold.
The device shown in the video resembles LG smartphones with a Dual Screen accessory connected, which added an additional screen to them. According to one of the versions, in the video we were simply shown two OnePlus 9 Pro smartphones, which are located close to each other.
