Online forum Forum.Digital Industry 2022 will be held on November 24

On November 24, the Digital Economy Development Fund will hold an online forum Forum.Digital Industry 2022, where participants will discuss the digitalization of industry under sanctions.

The Forum is organized by the Digital Economy Development Fund (FDC) with the support of the Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the Russian Federation for the Development of Information Technologies and the Digital Economy. During the forum, representatives of large Russian companies will share their experience of transitioning to domestic IT solutions in the industrial sector and talk about effective tools to increase the productivity of modern industry. Industry experts will talk about the trends and current challenges of the digital transformation of the industry. Key topics of the forum:

  • Functioning of the industrial market under sanctions: How did the departure of foreign suppliers affect the industrial production in Russia?

  • How long will it take to fully switch to Russian digital solutions? –

  • How does the State plan to support the technological independence of Russian business?

According to German Klimenko, Chairman of the Digital Economy Development Fund and Co-Chairman of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Council for the Development of Information Technologies and the Digital Economy, import substitution of software, even if it is available, is a difficult task, but almost everything is replaced by our domestic software, which is quite reliable, and the risk of data loss no import substitution.

“Developing a stable and resilient IT infrastructure is one of the key tasks in developing a business technology stack in all key industries, including the oil and gas industry. Cloud solutions, both public and private, allow for the creation, development and scaling of digital business services. Convenient platform tools help not only to quickly test hypotheses and speed up the time to bring products to market, but also more flexibly manage internal resources and access to services, as well as charge for the use of systems between teams to optimize costs,” comments Evgeny Maksimov, Head of Cloud Sales Group. Nikita Akhtyrchenko, IoT Product Manager at Aurora Evernet, outlined the importance of combining available hardware solutions with software to implement the project idea at the lowest cost:

“Under today’s conditions, the importance of the hardware component in the framework of solutions for the digitalization of industrial enterprises is significantly increasing. We see dozens of competitive Russian solutions on the market that can replace foreign software, but the same cannot be said about IoT controllers.”

Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of the Russian Federation, Rosatom, the TSIFRA Group, Sberbank, VK, Skillbox, ANO Tsifrovye Tekhnologii Productivnosti and others are invited to participate in the event.
