ONYX has started selling two of its new models, which are very different from each other: Nova Air C and Note Air 2 Plus. However, these e-books also have common features: for example, support for a complete stylus that recognizes 4,096 degrees of pressure, and the Android 11 operating system.
The ONYX BOOX Nova Air C model stands out primarily for its color screen – this is a 7.8-inch touch panel with a resolution of 1872 × 1404. The novelty uses a display based on electronic ink E Ink on-cell Kaleido Plus. Compared to the previous one, it has 30% more contrast in both modes and 15% more saturation in color mode. Nova Air C is powered by Qualcomm’s 2GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The 2000 mAh battery is charged via the USB-C port. With a weight of 235 grams, the dimensions are 194 × 136.5 × 6.3 mm.

ONYX BOOX Note Air 2 Plus is noticeably larger, it has a 10.3-inch screen. It is also produced using electronic ink technology, but a different type of panel is used – black and white E Ink Carta. The manufacturer claims that reading from this display is as convenient as reading from plain paper. The processor is also 8-core from Qualcomm, but the amount of RAM and storage is larger: 4 GB and 64 GB, respectively. The battery is also larger, almost twice – 3700 mAh. This, coupled with the size, could not but affect the weight, it is 445 grams with dimensions of 229.4 × 195.4 × 5.8 mm.
