OPAP delivered fully modernized two orthopedic units to the pediatric hospital ‘Panagiotis & Aglaia Kyriakou’

OPAP handed over, on Monday, March 14, 2022, completely renovated and modernized the 4th floor of the pediatric hospital “Panagiotis and Aglaia Kyriakou”, which houses the A ‘and B’ Orthopedic Units of the NW wing. The two Orthopedic Units have a total area of ​​650 square meters and a capacity of 24 beds. With the delivery of this project, 93% of the renovation of the pediatric hospitals “Agia Sofia” and “Panagiotis and Aglaia Kyriakou” is completed, which is implemented by OPAP and is now in the final stretch.

The renovation of the 4th floor of the pediatric hospital “Panagiotis and Aglaia Kyriakou” includes the complete modernization of the electromechanical installations and the air conditioning, heating and ventilation systems, as well as the supply of the necessary office and hotel equipment. Extensive color and decorative interventions were also performed, which now create a pleasant hospital environment for young patients.

OPAP started the renovation project at the two hospitals “Agia Sofia” and “Panagiotis and Aglaia Kyriakou” in April 2014, within the framework of its Corporate Responsibility program. To date, 29 renovation projects have been delivered, including 22 nursing units, with a total area of ​​14,560 sq.m. and a capacity of 534 beds.
