Last weekend, Opel hosted a large-scale Opel Fest for Opel car owners who have set their sights on a new Guinness World Record. As planned by the organizers, it was necessary to create the world’s largest logo of the German brand out of cars. More than 2 thousand participants registered for the festival, more than 1.5 thousand visitors from different regions of Russia and 536 cars of different generations, including rarities, arrived.
Participants in the event lined up in four rows for a lightning bolt and two rows for a ring to create the symbol of the Opel brand. There were not enough cars for the world record – it was necessary to assemble 1 601 cars. But despite this, they managed to achieve the national record.
In general, the meeting of Opel fans was held in a positive manner. The event was accompanied by contests and various surprises from partners. There was also a bright musical program. In addition, at the Opel Fest, festival guests could ride modern models and taste goodies.
