Opel has unveiled the Rocks-e compact electric car, which is very similar to the previously released Citroen Ami. In Europe, this model is not classified as a car, but as an ATV, that is, you do not need a driver’s license to drive.

About two years ago, Citroen unveiled the tiny Ami, with doors opening in opposite directions. The car received a battery with a capacity of 5.5 kW • h and a cruising range of 70 km. The range of the new Opel Rocks-e has been increased to 76 km. The car has some modified design, and also weighs less than the original: 470 versus 485 kg. The maximum speed has remained unchanged at 45 km / h. The engine power is only 8 hp. A full charge from a regular outlet takes about three hours.

The electric car has dimensions of 2410 x 1390 x 1520 mm, it received original 14-inch rims, additional headlights under the windshield. The body is painted in shades of black and gray with yellow accents.
The car received a small digital dashboard, stove, fan, USB port, cup holder and a speaker that replaces the audio system.

The Opel Rocks-e should be priced around $ 7,000.
