The American Embassy in Israel announced on Saturday morning that the Rafah crossing, which connects Egypt with the Gaza Stripimplying that this will be done in order to remove foreign citizens from the besieged Palestinian enclave.
In a post on social media, the American embassy states that “has received information” that the Rafa crossing will open at 10:00 this morning (local and Greek time).
“We do not know how long it will remain open for the removal of foreign citizens from Gaza”he added.
