The popular Opera browser has entered into a partnership agreement with the provider of solutions with cryptocurrencies Simplex. Thanks to this collaboration, Opera users will be able to buy cryptocurrency using fiat currencies and store it in their browser wallet.
Since its launch in 2014, Simplex has worked with cryptocurrency exchanges, wallet providers and financial institutions to integrate fiat-to-crypto transactions.
The browser currently supports wallets compatible with three blockchains – Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Tron (TRX).
For a browser that claims more than 380 million users, cryptocurrency could be a growth catalyst.
Another popular browser, Brave, is also planning to introduce fiat currency alongside the already integrated cryptocurrencies, and support for its own wallet is also being prepared. Implementation of the plan will help eliminate the need to register on exchanges and increase the convenience of managing personal wallets.
