This Tuesday morning (21), an operation coordinated by the Ministry of Justice carried out 26 search and seizure warrants and one arrest warrant in 13 states. The targets are suspected of committing crimes of child and adolescent sexual abuse and exploitation on the internet. According to investigators, they shared videos through a messaging app.
The operation — called “Bad Vibes” — is integrated between the Cyber Operations Laboratory (Ciberlab), of the Operations and Intelligence Directorate of the National Secretariat of Public Security of the MJ, with the states' civil police.
The warrants were served in Amazonas, Santa Catarina, Pará, Mato Grosso, Rio de Janeiro, Piauí, Espírito Santo, Bahia, Paraná, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul.
This is the third phase of this operation. In the first, in October 2023, 36 search and seizure warrants and 22 arrests were carried out in 12 units of the Federation.
The second was December of the same year, with 15 search and seizure warrants, 2 arrests in the act in the state of Minas Gerais.
