The Espirito Santos Civil Police received reports of 14 criminals, accused of participating in a criminal organization, involved in drug and weapons trafficking in Cariacica. The scheme was led by Adair Fernandes da Silva, known as “Dadá”, and managed by Gideon da Silva Jorge, known as “Caveira”, both of whom were killed in the confrontation.
The Organization maintained connections with other regions, such as Porto Novo, São Pedro (Vitória) and Serra, in addition to obtaining contact with factions such as the PCC and TCP. In addition to involvement in drug trafficking, the gang is also accused of money laundering.
In a press conference, delegate Alan Moreno de Andrade stated that the operation began with the arrest of Gideon da Silva Jorge, in March 2023. From that moment on, the police saw the need for forceful action, after realizing the magnitude of drug trafficking. drugs that surrounded that region.
“It is an area of activity there that would be based on the PCC, but there we cannot define a single faction. They are people dedicated to drug trafficking.”
With this arrest, the police began Operation Kripta, in September 2023, and managed to arrest 7 people, including the arrest warrant for Adair Fernandes da Silva, “Dadá”, who is the local boss.
“Dadá is an old-fashioned drug dealer, who gets his hands dirty and makes trafficking happen,” said the Police.
Dadá was arrested in May 2024, in a motel in the Cariacica region, and with him were approximately 50 kg of marijuana and a firearm. Then, Operation Killers began in November last year, in which the entire structure of the criminal organization that commands drug trafficking in the Campo da Polo region was carried out.
On the day it started, the Police managed to arrest 2 members of the scheme. Among them, Military Police Officer Maurício Simonassi de Andrade, who passed on information in exchange for regular payments of 5 thousand reais:

Furthermore, the Police also stated that they were looking for the arrest of Gildon da Silva Jorge, “Skull”, who was hit in the confrontation and died.
Emerson Hoi, one of those involved in the Grã-Vitória region, and José Cândido Javarino Filho, who is notably one of the drug trafficking leaders in the São Pedro region, in the capital, were also arrested in the operation.
