Portraying the significant moments of our lives through the lens of a smartphone has now become a daily practice. But it’s not all about vanity: experts say that i selfies they allow us to better grasp the essence of a particular moment and relive the emotions felt more intensely. As demonstrated by a recent review of studies involving more than 2,100 people and published in the journal Social Psychological and Personality Sciencephotos taken from our personal perspective are powerful tools to remember and reconnect with their past experiences.

Of the same idea is probably Oppo, one of the leaders in the smart device sector, which has developed the new Reno10 series, devices dedicated to simplifying the optimal realization of each selfies. Since it is summer, he has relaunched with a series of devices useful for tackling journeys while always staying connected.

Oppo Reno10 Pro and Reno10 5G: the power of the portrait

Oppo Reno10 Pro 5G and Reno10 5G are the two smartphones created by the House of Dongguan with dedicated tools to facilitate the creation of single or group portraits. They come with a slim and light design, thanks to their 3D curved body, a thickness of 7.89 mm and a weight of 185g. The design is enriched with new colors: Reno10 Pro 5G stands out for its shades Glossy Purple And Silvery Greywhile the Reno10 5G is available in shades Ice Blue And Silvery Grey. Both models feature a sophisticated two-tone design on the back around the camera. And both are distinguished by their own Supervooc fast charge, OPPO’s unique Battery Health Engine and Supervooc S power management chip. These features allow for faster charging and longer battery life. However, the two models differ in battery capacity and charging speed: the Reno10 Pro 5G boasts a 4,600mAh battery with 80W Supervooc Flash Charge, which allows a full charge in around 28 minutes. While the Reno10 5G offers a 5,000mAh battery with a 67W Supervooc Flash Charge, capable of fully recharging in about 47 minutes.

Both smartphones offer a system Ultra-Clear Portrait Camera System with a combination of three cameras. However, the camera set differs: the Reno10 Pro 5G has a 50MP flagship IMX890 main camera, a Telephoto Portrait Camera, 32MP IMX709 and the 8MP 112° Ultra Wide-angle Camera IMX355, with a 32MP front selfie camera. The Reno10 5G, on the other hand, features a 64MP sensor on its main camera, with the same Telephoto Portrait Camera and 32MP IMX709 sensor as the Pro model. Performance-wise, both smartphones use interesting chips for speed and low power consumption, offer a large storage capacity, an ultra-conductive cooling system and the ColorOS 13 operating system. Mobile platforms differ: Reno10 Pro 5G uses the platform Snapdragon 778G 5Gwhile Reno10 5G mounts the MediaTek Dimension 7050.

Finally, the Reno10 series benefits from the upgrade of ColorOS 13, which includes features like Multi-Screen Connect for optimal device-to-device connectivity. Strengthening the user experience, the new ColorOS 13 makes the daily use of the Reno10 series quite smooth and intuitive. With the Multi-Screen Connect function, users can connect Reno10 Pro 5G or Reno10 5G to the new Oppo Pad 2. This means easily share cellular data, make calls, receive text messages, connect to Wi-Fi without the need for password; but also receive real-time notifications on Oppo Pad 2, move a video from YouTube or another phone app to the larger tablet screen with a single click.

There are several launch offers of Oppo Reno10 Series. The 5G Pros are bundled with Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro, Oppo Band 2, a protective cover and the 6-month warranty on the screen at €649.99 while, Oppo Reno10 5G bundled with Oppo Air 3, a protective cover and the 6-month screen warranty at €499.99.

From the very central Manzoni penthouse in MilanOppo also launched its new earphones, Oppo Enco Air3, with improved audio quality and innovative functions. These earphones, equipped with a processor specialized in managing digital signals, offer immersive and high fidelity sound. The 13.4mm speakers deliver deeper bass and clear vocals. Furthermore, thanks to the integration of a new digital processor (Cadence Tensilica HiFi 5 DSP), the processing power is 25 times higher than the previous series. This should attribute 35% more energy efficiency and 50% improved battery life.

Oppo Enco Air3 also stand out for their jewelry inspired design, with a translucent case that opens to 110°, to facilitate the extraction of the earphones. Each earbud weighs 3.7 grams, for long-lasting comfort, and are IP54 rated against splashes of water. They have a battery life of up to 6 hours in standalone use and up to 25 hours with the charging case. They also support fast charging, giving you 2 hours of music playback from just a 10-minute charge. To have more space in the elaboration of stories or reels of your selfies, Oppo also presented the new Pad 2 with the unusual 7:5 display of aspect ratio. The 11.61-inch screen, with a resolution of 2800×2000 and a refresh rate of 144Hz ensures clear images, smooth viewing and efficient power consumption. The 1.07 billion color display is TÜV Rheinland certified and integrates a system of four speakers with support for Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos.

Oppo Pad 2 is one of the first tablets to integrate the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 platform. This enables industry-leading performance and efficient power consumption. The large 9510mAh battery supports up to 12.4 hours of video playback continues; 67W Supervooc charging charges the battery to 100% in just over an hour. The function Multi-Screen Connect 2.0 supports automatic connection between Oppo Pad 2 and any smartphone with the same Oppo account and Bluetooth enabled. This allows users to manage calls and messages directly from the tablet.
