Sources say that the new SoC will be released next year. It is known that it will be produced according to the 6 nm process technology at the facilities of TSMC. Apparently, this will not be a flagship solution, since already in 2024 Oppo should release a more productive SoC with an integrated modem. Apparently, this means that the first platform, which will be released next year, will not receive a built-in modem.
Unfortunately, there are no technical details. It can be assumed that Oppo’s first solution will rely entirely on Arm’s reference cores, that is, Cortex processors and Mali graphics. Considering Oppo’s relationship with Vivo, Realme and OnePlus, it cannot be ruled out that the new SoC will also appear on the smartphones of these companies.
