A woman was celebrating her second anniversary with her partner when she…accidentally ordered a $300 steak. Which caused controversy online.
Daniela, known in TikTok as @ikingdani, and her partner were celebrating two years of dating when he suggested she order a certain cut of meat. However, she unwittingly ordered a steak, which pushed the total bill for the romantic dinner to $400.
Her video went viral with millions of views. “My plate was $312 and his was $48,” Daniela wrote. His partner can then be seen joking, shaking his head as he hands over his card to pay.
“I thought we were going to break up,” she says. He later explained that the whole scene was an accident. “I left the restaurant crying. He was holding my hand and telling me we’ll be laughing about it in a few months.”
The video has caused controversy among users. “You should have offered to pay half. This is a huge one account,” someone wrote. “I’d push for a split,” agreed another.

Still others pointed out that it was not his fault. “The waiter had to confirm the order given the difference between the dishes,” was one comment.
Another user noted that something similar had happened to him with a wrong order.

For her part, Daniela revealed that she didn’t even enjoy the food. “Trust me, it wasn’t good to say the least.”
