Origin restaurant welcomes chefs from Corrutela (SP) and Pacato (BH) for a special dinner

In front of the award-winning Origin , only Bahian restaurant on the list of the 100 best in Latin America chefs Lisiane Arouca and Fabrício Lemos open the doors of the Soteropolitan house on May 3rd to Cesar Costa of corrutela It is Gaius Soter of quiet .

Both the chef from São Paulo and Minas Gerais participate in the third edition of the year of “Origin invites ”, a project that promotes exchange between chefs and presents the initiatives of the Ori Institute, which develops research work and valorization of ingredients from the five biomes of Bahia together with cooperatives of local producers.

For the occasion, the chefs unite their different techniques and styles in a tasting menu of about 12 stages, made with eight hands. Snacks, starters, main dishes and desserts are part of the evening.

Among the chefs’ creations, diners can expect the Corrutela mill polenta with country chicken, palm oil and Cesar’s cabbage; the cow submerged in creamed corn with Caio sauce; and the olhete cured with aji with coconut and assorted mushrooms by Fabrício.

Desserts are the responsibility of Lisiane, pastry chef at Origin.

ahead of corrutela , Cesar Costa he was already an intern at the DOM and had passage in renowned houses in the Czech Republic, United States, Denmark, France and England. He idealized Corrutela in 2016, fully based on sustainability. The restaurant now ranks 95th among the top 100 in Latin America and distinguished itself in 2021 with the sustainability award from the prestigious list.
