The rapper Oruam spat on a fan during his performance last Friday (20) in Salvador, Bahia. In a video posted on Tik Tok by a fan, we see the 23-year-old rapper looking directly at a person near the stage. Then, the musician spits and appears to curse him.
On the morning of this Monday (23), Oruam used his Instagram stories to explain what happened and revealed that the person in question was making a “faction sign”, in addition to mentioning his father, Marcinho VP.
“He was always making a faction sign at me. There came a part where I was talking about my father’s music, he looked at me and said something related to my father, and then he got spit in the face and got a few more punches’”, he explained.
The rapper also wrote in the story caption: “I’m not part of a faction.”
Who is Oruam’s father?
Marcinho VP has already been featured in one of Oruam’s shows. During his performance at Lollapalooza in March of this year, the rapper went on stage wearing a t-shirt with his father’s image and the word “Freedom”.
Marcinho is one of the leaders of the Comando Vermelho criminal faction, a group that controls part of the drug trafficking in Rio de Janeiro. In August, Oruam spoke about his father’s arrest on his Instagram:
“My father was arrested when he was 20, almost 30 years ago. For more than 15 years he has been locked in a 6 square meter cell, with 2 hours of sunbathing per day, when authorized, and without contact with anyone other than the prison guards,” he wrote at the time.
