Oscar, when the dress betrays and decides to do it right during the most glamorous night in Hollywood

It can happen to everyone to leave the house, after hours and hours spent in front of the mirror to prepare, that something goes wrong. In short, a stain, a tear, a small inconvenience capable of compromising an entire look which until then was almost perfect.

It happens in everyday life and it also happens during Hollywood’s most glittering night, that of Oscar. With that of this year there will be 94 editions, and time has passed since that intimate and essential ceremony that took place on May 16, 1929, becoming not only one of the most important appointments for those who work in the film field but also a real stage for fashion and ateliers from all over the world.

It makes perfect sense that many celebrity in their purse, rather than documents or phone, they first put a sewing kit, pins and tape. A sort of “fashion first aid” to deal with any unforeseen event.

There are those who have managed to mask the emergence of their dress well: for example Beanie Feldstein, 18 seconds before taking the stage to award one of the prizes in 2020, she patched the hairline of her white dress Miu Miu with a safety pin and thus avoiding to show his international live décolleté. Or also Alicia Keys who in 2009 broke one of her heels Jimmy Choo and showed up on stage on tiptoe to hide the trouble.

But there are also those who, on the other hand, have succeeded a little less. As you can see in the gallery below.
