Norway’s internal security services again raised the terror threat level in the Scandinavian country from moderate to “high” today, where they fear consequences of the ongoing escalation in the Middle East, mainly against “Jewish and Israeli” targets. “We are raising the terrorist threat level in Norway from moderate to high. As it is linked to several factors, primarily to the current escalation in the Middle East,” Martin Bernsen, a spokesman for these services (PST), told AFP. The agencies raised the threat level to the second highest on the PST’s five-point scale, where the highest level means imminent danger. “We have no information regarding concrete and realistic plans aimed at committing terrorist acts against targets in Norway,” he clarified.
