The developers of Rossgram, an analogue of Instagram banned in Russia, promised to present their application yesterday – and they did. In the official Telegram channel “Rossgram” they published a video with the work of the “application release partner”, on the example of which they demonstrated the interface and main features.
Rossgram was presented by Alexander Zobov, Internet marketer and co-founder of Rossgram.ru. The application interface is painfully familiar, almost all graphic elements are carefully copied from Instagram. However, the Rossgram logo also seems very familiar.
The demo includes the basics: posting pictures and stories, scrolling through the feed, likes, adding comments. A feature of Rossgram is the ability to share videos from external sources – YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo. Why is RuTube not on the list, since we are talking about an import-substituting application? Unclear. You can also upload your own videos from the phone’s memory to the feed.
There are a lot of bugs in the interface. For example, in the dialog when uploading a picture, the application offers to set the cost for some reason in dollars, not rubles, and when sending a picture in the “history”, the inscription “3 Seconds Ago Ago” is displayed. However, by the time of the public release of the application, these points will be eliminated. The launch of Rossgram is expected in April. First, the social network will be tested by bloggers with an audience of more than 100,000 people, as well as sponsors and project investors. The full video of the Rossgram demonstration can be viewed in the Telegram channel of the application at the link in the source.
