Volkswagen Group Rus, the official manufacturer of Audi in the Russian market, has launched a voluntary recall program in Russia. This was reported by the press service of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart).

The program recalls 1,226 Audi A4, A5, A6, A8, Q5, Q7, Q8 vehicles sold between 2019 and 2022.
These vehicles may have problems with the toe and/or camber of the rear axle after the service. Rosstandart explained:
This can result in increased and uneven wear of the rear axle tires and a change in the driving characteristics of the vehicle. Low or uneven tire tread height can cause loss of traction. Tire wear down to the carcass can lead to a sudden loss of tire pressure.”
Wheel alignment will be checked in the vehicles and repaired if necessary. Representatives of the manufacturer must inform, by mail or by phone, the owners of the vehicles subject to the recall about the need to take the vehicle to the nearest dealership for repair work.
At the same time, owners can independently determine whether their vehicle is subject to recall. To do this, you need to check the VIN code of the car on the Rosstandart website or a special service on the Auto.ru website.
