Concerns are caused by incidents this year during the Music Festival in France, where more than 100 women reported that they received bites by strangers in the crowd, probably with needles or other sharp objects. On Friday and Saturday 21st and 22nd June, 145 women across the country complained that there were victims of such attacks shortly after provocative posts on social media that prompted “women bites”. Some were taken to hospitals for exams, according to the interior ministry.
