The coronavirus pandemic has spurred the growth of online shopping. The rating of the most popular online stores among Russians was published by the Data Insight research agency.
Wildberries topped the rating of the largest online stores in 2020, whose revenue grew by 96% over the year to 413.2 billion rubles. Wildberries are followed by Ozon, which showed 144% growth in annual revenue to 197 billion rubles. The third place was taken by Citylink – its revenue reached 132.7 billion rubles, which is 47% more compared to 2019.
Of the online stores specializing in the sale of electronics, the top ten included DNS, M.Video and Eldorado. Russians most often buy clothes at Lamoda, and medicines and health products at Apteka.ru. The tenth place in the ranking was taken by Yandex.Market, where you can find everything – from tires and household chemicals to smart watches and refrigerators. For 12 months of last year, the revenue of the project of the domestic search giant grew by 136% to 44 billion rubles.
