P. Marinakis in ONNED pre-conference: DAP-NDFK will never be abolished

“Sports and volunteering is a big capital”, stressed from Ioannina, the Deputy Minister of Sports, Lefteris Avgenakis, during the ONNED pre-conference on “Sports as a lever for the development of national economy and voluntary consciousness”.

Mr. Avgenakis, addressing the young people, pointed out that sport is a very big industry, as a good organization, a proper sports building, a well-organized Ministry of Sports, “yes it can offer better in Education, in a better society in a a stronger rich economy “, while he underlined that volunteering is an integral part of society, of the person who cares about his fellow man and sends messages of respect, solidarity, quality.

The big bet, as he characteristically stated, “was that we would support and promote all sports, without any distinction, whether it is popular or less popular, and to claim big sports events with extroversion logic, not to just say, ‘ “Greece is the country that gave birth to the Olympic Games’, we must do something that will lead us to higher paths”. As an example, he added, among other things, the International Cycling Tour that started from Crete and ended in Ioannina, but also the big event “Acropolis Rally”.

At the moment, as the Undersecretary said, a project of collecting humanitarian aid for Ukraine in cooperation with the Red Cross is in progress in all sports facilities, with good results, however, as he said, “it does not matter how much we collect, as much as activating society through sport “.

In a statement earlier, he stressed that we need constant work, to support the athletic family, to independently support all sports, investment aimed at sports tourism, healthy eating, well-being, elements necessary to have results in the effort we make.

Addressing the youth, he pointed out that the ND faction “does not destroy you because you are involved in politics. There is always continuity, evolution and that is nice, it enriches you, it shapes you as a person.”

The secretary of the Political Committee of New Democracy and president of ONED, Pavlos Marinakis, expressed his satisfaction for the participation of young people in the pre-conference, referring to the large presence of students of DAP-NDFK, a place from which he himself started the course in politics, as he characteristically said, while he went on to say, that “every now and then attempts are made to distort reality, there is a propaganda that comes mainly from centers of the left and center-left, misinterpreted by leaks, from this step I will tell you clearly that student groups are not abolished, DAP-NDFK will never be abolished, it will never end, what it does will continue, it will continue even more intensely – and from here in Ioannina, we have to place a bet, to become even more the more creative our team is and the more victorious “.

Pavlos Marinakis added that the faction is disturbed, “because it is the force that keeps the universities human, clean, keeps the universities open and is the last and strongest embankment in irrationality. which will end with the vote of the people, with the laws of the government, with the victories in all the Universities, the occupations will end, the illegal acts will end, the hangouts will end, the gangs operating inside the universities will end, and “Every time they want to build giafkes, we will build libraries. This is our difference, this is our history and this is the future we want to create.”

On the other hand, Pavlos Marinakis pointed out that sport must permeate all our activities horizontally, because it is much more than a training, than a match, much more than what people see as obvious: it is coexistence, it is discipline, is health.
