Pacheco and Lira meet with STF to discuss institutional crisis and listen to demands
At a time when the country is going through a severe institutional crisis between the Palácio do Planalto and the STF (Federal Supreme Court), the presidents of the Chamber, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), and of the Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), met with ministers of the Supreme Court earlier this week, in Brasília.
According to reports made to CNN, ministers Gilmar Mendes, Dias Toffoli, Ricardo Lewandowski and Alexandre de Moraes participated in the meeting with the heads of the Legislature. The agenda of the conversation was: finding a conciliatory solution for the case of deputy Daniel Silveira (PTB-RJ), defending the institutional framework of the Supreme Court and guaranteeing the integrity of the Brazilian electoral process.
Police indict and seek preventive arrest of Saul Klein for sex crimes
Businessman Saul Klein, 68, son of the founder of Casas Bahia, Samuel Klein, was indicted last Thursday (27th) by the São Paulo Civil Police for eight sexual crimes.
The chief delegate for the Defense of Women in Barueri, Priscila Camargo Campos Gonçalves, and assistant delegate Leonardo Rocha Vieira, responsible for the investigations, asked in a 90-page inquiry for the preventive detention of the businessman and nine other people.

Zelensky: 10 Russian soldiers identified as suspects in crimes in Bucha
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said 10 Russian military personnel had been identified as suspects in the “crimes committed against our people in Bucha”.
In his evening speech posted on social media on Thursday (28), Zelensky said that the investigation into crimes committed by Russian army soldiers is ongoing.
He added that the “first ten Russian servicemen of the 64th Motorized Marines Brigade of the Russian Ground Forces who committed crimes against our people in Bucha, Kiev region, have been given suspect status.”
Chileans make racist provocations against Flamengo fans
In a match for Libertadores held on the night of this Thursday (28), between Flamengo and Universidad Católica, in Santiago, Chile, fans of the Chilean team were caught imitating monkeys in racist provocations. The images were shared in videos circulating on social media.
Flamengo spoke on Twitter about the matter. The club also tagged Conmebol in another publication, calling for stern measures on the matter.
