The teddy bear Paddington is back in Brazilian cinemas. THE Sony Pictures confirmed, this Friday (29), to the CNN that “Paddington: A Forest Adventure “, the third film in the franchise starring the adorable bear, will debut on the big screen in Brazil in January 23 .
In the new film, Paddington (Ben Whishaw from “007”) embarks on a mission to find his aunt Lucy, who disappeared from home. Upon arriving in Peru, he receives help from the Reverend Mother (Olivia Colman “The Favorite”), a cheerful nun who plays guitar and runs the Home for Retired Bears, as well as Hunter Cabot (Antonio Banderas “Pain and Glory”), a fearless boat captain who supports Paddington and the Browns on their cross-country journey.
Returning cast members include Hugh Bonneville (“Downton Abbey”), Julie Walters (“Billy Elliot”) and Jim Broadbent (“Iris”), present in the first two films of the franchise.
The Paddington Bear films are based on the character created by Michael Bond . Launched in 2014 and 2017, these productions achieved great success with both audiences and critics. “The Adventures of Paddington ” and “The Adventures of Paddington 2 ” are available for streaming in Brazil, respectively, via Netflix and Prime Video .
