This Tuesday (25), he stated that his colleague was loose and that he was returning home, where he would meet the family.

Director suffered threats other times
Hamdan Ballal, a Palestinian farmer, has been the target of intimidation and threats from Israeli settlers. He told CNN Last year as the settlers put her flocks on their lands as he slept.
He told NIC Robertson of CNN, that the settlers planned to take their lands and farms and that the aggression intensified after Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023.
Ballal documented his interactions with settlers, including threats of violence from one of them who claimed that God had given him the director’s lands. The artist reported that he called the police, but to no avail.
Oscar -winning documentary
Earlier this month, Ballal, Adra and Abraham received the Oscar for best documentary. The Israeli-Palestinian joint team film reports the expulsion of Palestinians from their homes in the occupied West Bank.
“No other land” documents continuous demolition by the Israeli authorities of Masafer Yatta, a set of villages in the mountains of Hebron, West Bank, where Adra lives with his family.
Production highlights Israeli government’s efforts to force residents to force, with viewers seeing the local playground being demolished, the murder of Adra’s brother by Israeli soldiers and other Jewish settlers while the community tries to survive.
The film also explores the human connection between ADRA and Abraham.
