Pamela Anderson debuts on Broadway in “Chicago”: “It’s the role of dreams”

the former star of “Baywatch”, Pamela Anderson will make her Broadway debut in the hit musical “Chicago”.

Anderson will be on the stage in the musical from April 12 to June 5 as Roxie Hart, which she called her “dream role”. Roxie is a singer and dancer who shoots her lover as easily as many people kill a fly.

“I think fame is freedom for Roxie,” he said in an interview on Wednesday. “It’s not just about being famous, it’s about having freedom and attention in a loving way, so I can empathize with a lot of things in the musical.”

“There’s a darkness,” Anderson said. “There is also a darkness in the press and in real life. It is a very interesting and iconic piece. It lasts forever because it’s a great story. And there’s always something underneath all the glamor that makes it even more glamorous.”

Anderson, 54, commented on how difficult it has been to prepare for the role.

“It’s a lot of hours of dancing, hours of voice, hours of scene work and on stage, in rehearsal rooms,” Anderson said. “There’s a lot involved. And once you get on that train, it goes on. There’s no way out.”

“I’m curious to see what I’m made of,” added the actress.
