“I had the opportunity to bring a lot of my personal experience, my long life dealing with beauty and glamor and aging and reevaluating my life choices,” Anderson told Madison, speaking about the emotional preparation she did for the film.
“I had to bring my whole life to this role,” he added.
In “The Last Showgirl”, Anderson plays Shelly, a Las Vegas showgirl whose performances abruptly end after 30 years, forcing her to face and plan her future.

In the interview, Anderson talked about the two sons she had with former Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, Brandon and Dylan Lee.
