Panasonic has unveiled the latest Toughbook G2 2-in-1 tablet PC that runs Windows 10. It features three modular expansion slots that offer additional features such as a thermal imaging camera, barcode scanner or quick-release SSD. The new ToughBook G2 will be backward compatible with “most Toughbook 20 and G1 docking stations.”
Toughbook G2 2-in-1 gets a 10.1-inch display with a peak brightness of 1000 cd / m22, it is equipped with Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors / Toughbook G2 is rated for 18.5 hours of battery life.
The Toughbook G2 works in both tablet mode and laptop mode with an attachable keyboard, and the optional mount allows you to attach it to your car or desk. Other features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and dual SIM capability. The tablet can be equipped with 16 or 32 GB of RAM and a 512 GB or 1 TB solid state drive.
The Toughbook G2 goes on sale 25 years after the original Toughbook was released. It is offered for corporate customers starting at $ 2,999 through authorized resellers.
