Pandemic support measures ending on 31 May

Twenty-part countdown to the completion of two basic support programs for employers, employees and non-employees is “running” from today.

The reason for the “Collaboration” mechanism and the extension of insurance capacity for all self-employed.

The “Co-operation” mechanism, based on the last 2-month extension voted by the government, is valid until May 31.

The same deadline is provided for the horizontal extension of insurance capacity for all professionals, for debtors and non-debtors. At present, the government has not decided to extend the “Co-operation” mechanism, eg in June, etc.

So the deadlines are crucial which have been announced by the Ministry of Laboraccording to which for the month of May 2022 the companies – employers wishing to join the Mechanism, are given the opportunity to submit declarations (AD-phase and correct repetition) until 31 May 2022

Also, for the month of April 2022, it is possible to submit the declarations (Phase – correct repetition) until today.

Regarding the insurance capacity of professionals, debtors have the option to extend it until February 28, 2023, if they settle their debts. Especially for this year, a provision has been passed which gives the possibility of paying only the health contributions, retrospectively for 2021.

Any debtor who pays the annual health contributions (in favor of EOPYY) for the 12 months of 2021, which correspond to 12 times the monthly health contributions, which he chose for 2021, will be able to have medical and pharmaceutical care until the end of February 2023 .

In fact, this coverage will concern not only the debtors themselves, but also their minor children or their uninsured spouse.

That is, the amount they have to pay – and even a lump sum – amounts to 660 euros or 792 euros (depending on whether they have chosen the 1st or the 2nd insurance category).

This payment can be made not only until the end of May 2022, but also until the end of December 2022. However, if one pays after the end of May 2022 (with a maximum deadline, however, on December 31, 2022), one can has insurance capacity, but again the maximum time limit on February 28, 2023.
