Terror for passengers and crew airplane at landing at East Midlands Airport in England on the night of Thursday 30/9. From the photos that make the rounds of the internet, one engine seems to be engulfed in flames as soon as the aircraft touches the ground.
According to a Sun report, no one was injured when the 747 cargo plane that had departed earlier from Leipzig, Germany landed at the English airport with a deafening click. The photo shows the flames flying from one of the aircraft engines, as well as the smoke that begins to envelop it.
It is not known what caused the explosion in the engine, but the British media broadcast the claim of an eyewitness that “something went into the engine” at the time of landing.
Along with the flames, there was a strong blow, according to the witness.
Earlier this week, a British airport was closed following a take-off accident that sent two passengers and a pilot to hospital.

Teesside Airport “closed until further notice” after the incident that unfolded shortly after 9.30 on Saturday morning.
The pilot and the two passengers on board the light aircraft were rushed to hospital. One was even transported by ambulance with serious injuries.
