Panoramic image of planet Mars from the Chinese rover Zhurong, which has been on the red planet since May 14, was released by the Chinese National Space Institute (CNSA).
The image marks, according to Space.com, the 100 days of activity on Mars, as preparations continue for the rover to be inactive for about a month, entering safe mode from mid-September to late October, as its parts charge solar block communication with the Earth.
Preparing for the break, the rover captured the image of the planet near a dune with its panoramic camera, which scientists are waiting to analyze.
From landing on May 14 and launching on the planet a week later, Zhurong is moving south from where it landed, analyzing different rocks, dunes and other features.
