Tether General Director Paolo Ardoino said that in the fourth quarter the company will open the source code of its operating system for Bitcoin mining (MOS).

The head of the USDT issuer emphasized that thanks to the opening of the source code, companies of any size will be able to manage the infrastructure for cryptocurrency mining regardless of third -party software.

“The Horde of new companies engaged in Bitcoin mining will be able to enter the game and compete for ensuring the security of the network. No longer needs third -party hosting software. MOS will create equal conditions by reducing the gap between public companies and smaller players, ”Ardoino said.

According to him, MOS integrates all the main components of the object for the production of cryptocurrency into a single -rating network without a server, providing an uninterrupted connection between devices. The system already supports plugins for working with various models of miners, containers and electric grid equipment. Developers will be able to create their own modules and connect them to the system.

According to Ardoino, the opening of the source code will help strengthen decentralization and increase the security of the network, since more participants will be able to join it and ensure its protection.

Future developments may include integration with artificial intelligence tools to improve performance analysis using data created by the mining operating system. At the moment, work is underway on the documentation, manuals for users and the preparation of repositories to access the community, the businessman summed up.

Earlier, Paolo Ardoino said that the company does not plan to enter the stock exchange, despite the successful lister lister – Circle – on the NYSE Stock Exchange.
