While Alberto Angela, Cristiana Capotondi and Luca Zingaretti led the audience on an exciting journey to discover the Opera that made the history of music and Italy.

Vanity Fair, in collaboration with Arena di Verona Foundation and Unicredit, opened the unrepeatable event, welcoming the guests expected at the performance in an exclusive and elegant cocktail party in the gardens of Piazza Bra, in front of the most prestigious amphitheater in Italy. A glamorous red carpet where, in the name of art, figures from politics, culture and entertainment toasted to celebrate one of the most extraordinary events in world opera.

In the suggestive location around the large fountain, between drinks, meetings, shots at the photowall, women and men who have made the history of our country and young artists who are rewriting the future met, united by the love for our extraordinary culture. Mattia Stanga, Federica Pellegrini with her husband Matteo Giunta, Herbert Primig, Nadir Catalano, Claudia Gerini, Michela Scolari, Guenther Primig, Marco Balich, Tommaso Passera, Jerry Calà, Johnny Calà, Bettina Castioni, Iva Zanicchi, the photographer Nima Benati, Antonella and Gian Luca Rana and family, Sara Cavazza Facchini, Mathias Facchini and children were welcomed by Vanity Fair and by the delegation of Arena di Verona and Unicredit Foundation.

«It’s our first social evening for five months», say the new parents Federica Pellegrini and Matteo Giunta, «we are very happy to spend it here, the arena always has a particular magic but this evening even more».

Among the many young guests of the evening also the actress of Sea Outside Serena De Ferrari, the creator Alessia Colonna, the stylist and art director Simone Furlan, the actress of Ludovica Bizzagla, and then again the singer-songwriter and fashion designer Popa, the actor of Skam Italy and LGBT+ activist Pietro Turano, the content creator Gianmarco Millo, the chef Tracy Eboigbodin, the content creator Alessio Cicchini.

Serena De Ferrari, twelve years of studying music and five years of opera singing under her belt, comments: «It’s incredible, there are certain names all together in the same theater tonight that I wouldn’t be surprised if the Arena exploded».

Prediction confirmed, the evening is a riot of enthusiasm and applause also because, as maestro Riccardo Muti recalled, addressing the men and women of government in the box of honor (present the president of the Republic, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni the president of the Senate Ignazio La Russa, that of the Chamber, the Veronese Lorenzo Fontana, the mayor Damiano Tommasi, the president of the Province Flavio Pasini and the president of the Region Luca Zaia, the minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano, that of Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso): «The orchestra is synonymous with society. There are violins, cellos, violas, oboes, trombones… Each of them often has completely different parts, but they must all contribute to a single good, which is that of everyone’s harmony, is that clear? There is no bully, in fact many times I continue to tell my musicians that there is an impediment to the music. And he is the conductor of the orchestra.”
