With a premium partners like the LVMH group, the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics could only be an event with a strong fashion connotation. The inauguration monsters has seen fashion and sport go hand in hand along the Seine and in the most suggestive spots of the French capital which also wanted to celebrate its own grandeur marred by pouring rain. We had already had a taste of the athletes’ uniforms while here we illustrate the details of the outfits spotted on stage and among the audience.
Also sitting in the grandstand were several very wet queens, struggling with transparent raincoats that had at least one quality: they still showed us the outfits designed by the royals to cheer on your country’s team.
