Paris 2024: web rescues photos of Jade Barbosa in previous Olympics; see

A artistic gymnastics final at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games this Tuesday (30) brought an unprecedented feat to Brazil: a medal bronze. In the team of gymnasts who participated in the victory is Jade Barbosa 33, an athlete who had already participated in two other Olympics: in 2008 and 2016.

In a celebratory mood, internet users took the opportunity to revisit photos from the athlete’s past, who had not yet stood on an Olympic podium.

Jade Barbosa, however, has other victories on her resume, such as being the only athlete to win more than one medal at the Artistic Gymnastics World Championships (2007 and 2010) and winning a gold medal at the Pan American Games, in the vault apparatus in 2007.

When was Brazil’s first participation in the Olympics?
