The socialite paris hilton 43, returned to what was left of his home in Malibu, consumed by the wildfires that devastated Southern California, and opened up about the pain of losing his home.

The heiress of the Hilton hotel chain revealed that she watched on television as the fire destroyed the residence she shared with her husband, businessman Carter Reum, and the couple’s two children, Phoenix and London.

In an Instagram post, she wrote: “I’m here, in the place that was our home, and the pain is truly indescribable. When I first saw the news, I was in complete shock; I couldn’t process it. But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has broken into a million pieces.”

The property, purchased by Paris in 2021 for US$8.4 million (around R$51 million at current prices), was completely reduced to ashes. When publishing a video of the rubble, she confessed to being shaken by losing the space where she made unforgettable memories with her family.

“This house wasn’t just a place to live – it was where we dreamed, laughed and created the most beautiful memories as a family. It was where Phoenix, with his little hands, made works of art that I will treasure forever, where love and life filled every corner. Seeing everything reduced to ashes… is devastating beyond words,” he wrote.

“What breaks my heart even more is knowing that this is not just my story. So many people lost everything. It’s not just walls and roofs – it’s the memories that turned these houses into homes. These are the photos, the objects kept with care, the irreplaceable pieces of our lives”, he continued.

Faced with this challenging time, the businesswoman said she was relieved that her family and animals were safe: “And yet, in the midst of this pain, I know that I am incredibly lucky. My loved ones, my babies and my pets are safe. That’s the most important thing, and I’m holding on to that gratitude with everything I have.”

Paris took advantage of the post to praise the work of professionals who have faced forest fires.

“I am deeply grateful to all the firefighters, first responders and volunteers who are risking their lives to fight these fires.”

Finally, the star took the opportunity to thank his fans for their support and promised that he will rebuild his home.

“To everyone who sent love, prayers and kindness – you reminded me that even in the ashes, there is still beauty in this world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And to everyone going through this pain, please know that you are not alone. We are in this together,” he wrote.

“We will rebuild, we will heal and we will rise stronger than before. Let this be a reminder to hug your loved ones. Cherish the moments. Life can change in an instant, and it’s the love we share that really matters. I’m sending all my love to everyone who is hurting right now.”
