You Paris Olympic Games in France, start next Friday (26). After 100 years since the last edition in the city, in 1924, the event organization offers a special public transport operation — with 10 lines and 450 buses that take spectators directly to the matches. The shuttle service is free and does not require reservation.
The vehicles, which feature a billboard that says “Paris 2024” and the destination, arrive at six most remote locations of the competition and only operate on game days, which end on August 11th. There are specific stations for the departure of the buses.
The paths of these new routes pass through places such as: National Golf in Guyancourt; the Palace of Versailles home of modern pentathlon and equestrian sport competitions; Mount Elancourt where mountain bike races take place; Roland Garros, which features tennis matches and boxing events; Princes Park with the installation of buses only during the 27th, 28th and 30th of July; and the Nautical Stadium of Vaires-sur-Marne where there is a canoeing competition.
It is possible to catch the bus two hours and 30 minutes in advance and up to two hours after the end of the matches. To facilitate access to transport, there is the Public Transport Paris 2024 app focused on driving.
