French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian again summoned the Russian ambassador to Paris today, following a post on Twitter of the embassy that was deemed ‘indecent’ in connection with the atrocities committed in the Ukrainian city of Butsa.
“In the face of the indecency and provocation of the announcement of the Russian embassy in France about the atrocities of Butsa, I decided to call the Russian ambassador to the Foreign Ministry this morning,” the minister said in a post.
The embassy posted a tweet, which it later withdrew, with the caption ‘Scene’ accompanied by a photo of a group of journalists on a street apparently in Butsa, suggesting that the massacre of civilians in the town was directed.
