The Paris Municipal Authority today announced the release of 100,000 euros to support hip-hop artists (music, dance, visual arts …) and try to respond to their difficulties to fund their plans. “Finding that existing support mechanisms are used little by artists and organizational structures of Hip-Hop events, the city of Paris has decided to create a help dedicated especially to them,” said Carin Rogian, Deputy Mayor of Paris. This money will be available after the selection of proposals under the auspices of La Place, a Paris Cultural Center created in 2016 and deals exclusively with hip-hop music.
