The company Parler, which developed the social network of the same name, announced the launch of a trading platform for non-fungible tokens (NFT) based on the Solana blockchain.
According to statement Parler, a DeepRedSky marketplace, will sell Solana-based NFTs and make them available for purchase with credit cards. DeepRedSky will also advise its clients interested in creating, distributing and selling NFTs.
Parler CEO George Farmer said that the commission for trading on the site will be higher than that of OpenSea, but did not name the exact cost. Recall that OpenSea charges a commission of 2.5% on each transaction.
“We plan to work with about 50-100 brands, and intend to offer a wider range of services than OpenSea currently offers, where basically only the issuance and placement of tokens is available to users,” Farmer emphasized.
The first collection of CryptoTrump Club NFTs is now available on DeepRedSky, including 250 non-fungible tokens featuring former US President Donald Trump. Each NFT is traded at $2,750. The name of the author of the collection is not reported.
Recall that at the end of last year, Donald Trump said that he supported his wife’s initiative to issue non-fungible tokens, but he is still confident that cryptocurrencies will destroy the global financial system.
